As a rule lack of comfort and fear of getting cold discourage people from giving this idea a try. We can break down these stereotypes and offer you a journey through winter forest with our smart and emotional Huskies.
You will feel like a participant of the real expedition because you will be a musher (20 km) during the half of the tour. You will spend a nigh in a comfortable and warm tent.
Day 1
On your arrival to Karjala Park you will visit the kennels and meet tour guide and the dogs. A tour guide will tell you some fascinating facts about the history of the Siberian Huskies. After a briefing covering the theory of mushing you will try to it with the real sleds pulled by a snowmobile.
After that we pack the equipment and set off along the route, accompanied by a snowmobile. After a while we stop for a delicious lunch. Reaching Jandri Lake you can go for a walk on snowshoes. Then come back at the camp to have dinner and share your thought and emotions about the day with each other.
Day 2
After a delicious hot breakfast we look forward to the fun snowshoeing on lake Jandri (a mini competition for the participants). Warmed by the delicious hot tea, we continue the tour. We will have a pit-stop for lunch. On returning to Karjala Park we have delicious dinner.
A tour guide may change the route depending on the weather conditions and tourists' skills and physical shape.
